In order to comprehensively summarize the national stroke prevention and control work in 2018, deploy the key tasks for next year, and promote the construction of stroke centers in China, the Office of the Brain Prevention Committee of the National Health Commission is scheduled to hold the "2018 Stroke Prevention and Control Project Summary Meeting" in Changsha, Hunan Province from November 30 to December 2. During the meeting, a forum on stroke center construction will be held, and a tour of appropriate stroke prevention and control technologies will be held to praise the advanced units and individuals in stroke prevention and control work in 2018, award the qualified senior stroke center units (including the construction units) in hospitals, and announce the first batch of demonstration senior stroke centers and demonstration stroke prevention and control centers.
