The second neuropsychological and affective disorders professional committee of Shandong Association for the Prevention and Treatment of Cerebrovascular Diseases was elected by democratic vote. Professor Wang Minzhong, chief physician and deputy director of neurology department of the provincial hospital affiliated to Shandong First Medical University (Shandong Provincial Hospital), was elected as the chairman. Wang Minzhong, chairman of the Neuropsychological and Emotional Disorders Professional Committee of Shandong Association for the Prevention and Treatment of Cerebrovascular Diseases, made a work report and speech on his new appointment at the general meeting, and gave a special lecture entitled "Understanding of the diagnosis and treatment of insomnia patients in general hospitals" at the academic conference, sharing the research progress of insomnia at home and abroad, as well as personal clinical experience for many years, providing new ideas and new perspectives for the diagnosis and treatment of this kind of disease.
