1.Physical therapy ( PT ) : At present, the PT commonly used in the rehabilitation of cerebrovascular disease mainly includes electrotherapy and exercise therapy. The former is commonly used with myoelectric biofeedback and functional electrical stimulation, and the latter includes Rood method, Bobath method, Brunnstrom method, PNF and MRP.
Speech therapy ( ST ) : mainly for the treatment of aphasia, in order to improve the patient 's language understanding and expression ability, restore its communication function, and create conditions for social reintegration. Studies at home and abroad have shown that ST can significantly improve the language function of patients with aphasia. The earlier the treatment begins, the better the effect.
3.Psychotherapy ( PST ) : It is mainly a treatment method to correct patients ' abnormal behaviors ( such as emotional disorders, incorrect cognitive activities ) through words and deeds, or in combination with other special means ( such as music, biofeedback, etc. ). The purpose of psychotherapy is to enable patients to give full play to their subjective initiative and actively participate in relevant treatment activities to obtain better therapeutic effects.
4.Swallowing treatment : Dysphagia is a common problem in stroke patients. About 22 % ~ 65 % of hospitalized stroke patients have varying degrees of dysphagia. Stroke survivors with dysphagia are prone to complications and have a high mortality rate. Therefore, full attention should be paid to the treatment of dysphagia after stroke.
5.Traditional Chinese medicine therapy : acupuncture, manipulation therapy.
