Can cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases be reduced or discontinued ?

Do not easily reduce drugs and drug withdrawal ! For almost all cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, especially ischemic cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases, such as coronary heart disease, myocardial ischemia, angina pectoris, myocardial infarction, stent surgery, bypass surgery, cerebral infarction, etc., can not be arbitrarily discontinued. Because once the drug is stopped, vascular stenosis may be aggravated, new ischemia may occur, and even induce angina pectoris, myocardial infarction and so on, so it cannot be stopped.

For example, patients with hypertension, once diagnosed, need lifelong medication. In particular, people with high blood pressure exceeding 160, low blood pressure exceeding 100, combined with diabetes, coronary heart disease, increased blood lipids, older age, or family history of early-onset cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases need timely medication to prevent hypertension. Caused by heart, cerebrovascular, kidney and other organ lesions, to avoid the occurrence of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases to the greatest extent. In the case of better blood pressure control, under the guidance of doctors, the drug can be gradually discontinued and reduced.
